Arena Champions: “Reapers Of Anguish”

Photo taken by .: Aяεɭi Լợυ :.

On Friday March 24th, we celebrated another great event in the Pandemomium Arena in charge of Juℓiα Нєᴌᴄаяаxё Stʀɛɛtɛʀ нαчєş (juliasalvatore19) as the Battle Master and ℒyrí Нєᴌᴄаяаxё Stʀɛɛtɛʀ (lyricaldesire) as her Assistant. A new battle begun and the braves fighters were ready to kill.

Our first match was between Ɫίllίαηηα Crίѕtoℓє-Κєrєş (kaelyn09) vs ღ Ėოოα Ṁιѕтωооȡ ღ (emmaava) resulting in a victory for Ėოოα. Up next we witnessed the very intense match between Neko Tiggger (nekotiggger) and Lisa Cydaea Ṁιѕтωооȡ (lisatgirl) who won after a very close fight adding another victory to the Battle Board making a total of 8! After them we had 罪 Íςαяυѕ δуℓν. Ἐяєςнтнєισи (melmel.moonwing) vs ღ Ėოოα Ṁιѕтωооȡ ღ (emmaava) who won her second match adding 2 points to the Battle Board in total. And now was the turn of a very young fighters, Jack (jackycb) and ДӃǟຮɦǟ ςhurςh ɗεɭ Pöɳʈεʋεččɨö (akashayo), both was called to the arena and the fight started but sadly the fight had to be stopped due that one of the fighters took a health potion when was not allowed. Even though, the fight was restarted but sadly this fight didn’t count towards the Battle Board but both fighters received winner rewards. With this in mind, the Battle system is being improved and in a near future this kind of accidents will not happen. And finally, for the last match we had – ̗̀Tαʈɨ Tєиєβŗαє Ƥիøєиɨϰ ̖́- (tatidoll) vs .: Aяεɭi Լợυ :. (lidyall), who due the age of her opponent agreed to not use her third attack and after a very… very close fight, the winner was .: Aяεɭi Լợυ :. (lidyall). Read more...

A&D: Beyond the Game

Prior to the war on Eskiyurt, I had envisioned a piece regarding the players among the system. As the war unraveled, it was clear that it was meant to be written. As a gamer who enjoys Eternal Conflict: Angels & Demons, I wanted to know about what kind of players I interact with on a daily basis on the sim.

See, even though the title gives the impression of never-ending battles, it’s more than just that. And we see this in the most common of areas, the Hangout Area. Here, not only do players get to work of their professions, vow to one another, or ready themselves to face a boss, gamers get a chance to interact with each other in a friendly manner regardless of their species. Of course, the role-play can get a little too intense, which leads to the occasional taunts. But in the end, it’s all fun and games. This is also the perfect place to simply skill at your own leisure. Whether it’s mining while watching Netflix, pounding the anvil to ACDC, or taking advantage of the new meditation section while needing to “afk”, the Hangout Area is your one-stop shop.

Personally, I typically make parchments while catching up on my IMs, write official notices, or just blog (like I am doing now). Read more...

Seraphim/Archangel Zahney

Drawn by ιςαяυѕ αιℓσяσυѕ

She looks to the skies, freedom to soar through them awaits her. The kingdom of Angels she stands beside and protects are with her as she is with them. She remains strong as she contemplates the battlefield, picturing what may lie ahead, the future of this world. A Seraphim, and the Archangel of Fate, watches over all, foreseeing the great danger that lay ahead, and the magnificent victory.

Blog Event #2

Hey there! Since we will be releasing the Quest System within the next month or so,  I thought we could do a simple Blog Event. How this will work is everyone that replies and answers to the question will have a chance to be selected to receive the reward. We will give rewards to the Best 3 Quest Suggestions that we end up using for the Quest System. Therefore, try to imagine if they would work within the limitations of SL and match A&D.

For this specific event I would like you all to answer the following question.  Make sure that your answer is one that would be appropriate and also that it answers the specific question that is asked.
Q: What  sort of specific Quests would you like to see added to the upcoming Quest System?

(Note: We already plan to put quests that cover gathering resources such as logs, ores, reagents, crystals, and etc. Make sure that your suggestion is something different than those.) Read more...

Chiseling Profession

Photo taken by .: Aяεɭi Լợυ :.

With hammer in hand, a chink here and a chink there, chiseling away the uncut gems from the rock. Intense is the concentration, as tightly held, with steel control they slowly and with pain staking control focus on pulling as much precious stone from the heart of the mine.      Chiseling is a new core skill, that both Angel and Demons work long and hard on. They work to pull raw gems from the rock, so that these gems – Citrine, Ruby, Onxy, and Diamond – can all be cut and made ready to grace the jewelry that helps us all gain little bonus’s as we work and fight hard in our Choirs and Hordes.

Winner of the Fire Themed Photo Contest Interview: 笑 Ǥεïşɧą 笑 (mimaiselfandai)

When I found out that Ǥεïşɧą had won the photo contest, I was ecstatic! I have known her for quite some time now and have fought along her side during the War of Sacrilege and on occasional hunts since she was a youngling. Not only was I happy for her win, but for the opportunity in reuniting with an old friend. Like most long-term SL friendships, especially from across the globe, there are periods in time that prevent interaction due to RL circumstances. So, I was quickly able to take advantage in catching up with one of my most fiercest of friends. So without further ado, the winner of the Fire Themed photo Contest: 笑 Ǥεïşɧą 笑 (mimaiselfandai)!

As I comfortably sat waiting on the flowered couch with my pen and paper ready, I was admiring the contraction of muscles and ripples of a demon in particular as he beat the mining rock over and over again. My trance was abruptly halted when she landed on me out of no where. While my gaze followed her figure as she made her way to the other seat, all other thoughts were now vanished. Read more...

A&D System Poll

We would like to hear the opinions of the A&D Community on the two topics included in the following 2 polls. Answer the  polls accordingly also make sure that you fill in your SL username where it asks. The results of these polls will guide us in the decisions we make as to what changes we will implement within the system in regards to those topics.

After going over the results of the System Poll we have made our decisions on the 2 topics. We will leave Brightness/Blood Nightly Loss in half (62) for a while and see how it goes. As for the Spells Topic, though the YES votes were slightly higher than the NO Votes, the amount of NO votes are too high for us to ignore therefore the spells will stay as they are and will fail to cast if your target leaves the region. We thank you all for your input and we greatly appreciate it.

The Forgotten Tales – Roo Interview

“I’ll tell you a secret. Old storytellers never die. They disappear into their own story.” ~ The Forgotten Tales will soon resurface into the light.

A writer has the ability to encapsulate the very core of creativity. Creating a tale that is able to move the hearts of the reader and to simply leave them in awe. The quill and paper are powerful tools indeed.

The Forgotten Tales was the first story contest to be held within Eternal Conflict: Angels & Demons. To speak with complete honestly, it came by on a whim but it turned into a great addition to the system. Within A&D we have always had fighting related contests but never anything that was completely aimed at the role-play aspect that we wish to see flourish and grow. This Story Contest was a step in the right direction to allow those that enjoyed role-playing and storytelling to be able to do so within the system and to be recognized and rewarded for their efforts. Magery Profession

Photo taken by .: Aяεɭi Լợυ :.

“Eyes meet – a drop of sweat falls from the brow. Intense is the confrontation, as each opponent refuses to back down. With a snarl and a his – hand move in motion – fire ignites the hands in flame. The other smiles, and slowly winks as lightening shoots in power bolt strikes from their finger tips. They dance, a dance of war, slowly circling as they set their spell in motion. Collision in the darkened sky, fire hits lightening, both embracing and breaking then breaking the others work. The spells, the Magery, the eternal fight.”

Magery is the culmination of Lumberjacking, Alchemy, and Inscription. With three levels of skills, a opponent can choose to do harm or to protect and mend. From something as simple as poison and cure – to something as lethal as flamestrike. There is a spell for the novice to the master, just find your mana and do your work.
